The Artist

Few individuals, period, capture the heart, essence, and spirit of the Soul more than Amil Velasquez. An immigrant from El Salvador, having come up from humble beginnings, Amil strives to pay each of his own vast experiences forward and provide homage to the visual beauty of each frame, while still capturing the personal stories behind each moment. His distinctive, personal style emanates joy and peace while expressing the vibrancy and colors of each setting, scene, and shot.

Films, personal events, landscapes, sports, and the spirit of the soul are all brought to life through his unique talent for capturing harmonious, contrasting colors with bold compositions and provocative arrangements. As the artist explains, “I see myself as a storyteller first and I welcome you to join me on this artistic expedition.” 

Amil’s work has been displayed in Magazines, Newspapers, TV Channels throughout the country and other cities, including [The Houston Chronicle] in [Houston]. As a community-minded artist, Amil Visuals has collaborated with other prominent area artists and is a co-founder of “The Creative Jungle,” a Houston-based collaboration of artists, musicians, and other creative collectives that strive to support each other’s endeavors and work, describing this movement as a “beautiful place to be yourself.” 

He has worked with/featured HBO, MLB, Univision, MLS, and Hotel Zaza among other prominent companies.
